Our philosophy is simple, yet multifacited. Our goal is to teach every student the physical and mental aspects of Shaolin Kempo Karate. Many people have the misconception that Karate is about learning how to punch, kick and fight. Unfortunately, those notions are ill conceived. Yes it is true, that through the course of training, students will learn those physcial component to help defend oneself. However, there are so many more attributes gained from training in the Martial Arts.
A few examples of the physical attributes gained from Martial Arts training are: Increased stamina, Coordination, Increased Flexibility as well as Self-Defense.
A few examples of the mental attributes gained from Martial Arts training are: Discipline, Self-Confidence, Respect for Others and Respect for Oneself.
Students also develop an "I Can Do That" attitude through the course of their training.
